New Things Are Fantastic!

 I am most excited about my two new polishes.. Brazilliant and Absolutely Shore! I know you guys know what these look like in the bottle.. but I completely forgot to take a picture to upload earlier. A picture of my nails will be posted tomorrow! Promise :) I can tell you this though, these will be the two colors I will be wearing ALL summer!

     JewelMint's Aqua Bomb Ring was my discounted piece that I picked out last week. I chose a ring based off of how I usually wear jewelry.. I don't wear many necklaces and I wear the same Tiffany's bracelet and earrings every day, so I picked this funky ring! It's a bold yet minimal piece. I love the aqua ends too.. they are great for summer! This piece was only $9 I believe which is incredible. Also, if you do purchase this ring and can't decide on a size.. go bigger! This ring is slightly adjustable, always a plus! 

About a month ago I purchased several Lorac items from Hautelook, and they finally came today! Yes, the wait was killer, but completely worth it! Each item was only $2! That's about 80% percent off! So I bought 7 thing.. an On Screen Duo in Fame and Fortune, two eye pencils in black and brown, three lipglosses, and one Baked Matte Satin Eyeshadow in Posh. Unfortunately, the Lorac site no longer has the lipglosses that I purchased available. I will post a picture tomorrow though.. one was for me, one for my aunt, and one for my mom. The On Screen Duo and Shadow are both on sale on the Lorac site for $2, and the eyeliners are $3! These products are being discontinued, but you can still get your hands on them for now! The On Screen Duo is fabulous! It has a shimmery powder highlighter in the top and a creamy liner in the bottom. I wore both of them along with the Posh shadow today, and they all worked great! The reason I say "creamy" liner instead of gel is because it's honestly not a gel. I don't want to lead you in the wrong direction. The consistence is awesome though, and it stays on just like a gel would! Posh is a good summer's day shadow. You could use it as a highlight or a crease color, so it's very versatile! 


As I mentioned in my post earlier today, I also received a bracelet from BaubleBar. The picture of it is unavailable on the site until you are offered the free gift.. so I can't really show it to you guys. But it's an absolutely adorable light brown leather wrap bracelet with little gold studs on it. I only had to pay shipping for this item, a mere $4! New Nail Polish.. again :)

It's official, I'm obsessed with nail polish. So I might as well show off my new polishes, right? I've gotten quite a few lately that I'm loving.. the first being OPI's Dating A Royal. In spite of the royal wedding I thought this color was appropriate. It's a very pretty.. well, royal blue. Very fun, bright and a pretty deeper summer blue! Next is Essie's Tart Deco, a light coral. I'm wearing this color right now and I love it! Very fun for spring and summer. Then I got OPI's Samoan Sand. I have a new found love for neutral colored nails.. this and Dulce de Leche being my top favs. This is more of a sandy color than Dulce.. with more brown undertones. Very natural, but still quite a statement color in my opinion. OPI's Too Hot Pink To Hold Em is a color me and my mom got to share. I usually prefer pinks and reds on my toes, and I was due a new one. It's just a really good hot pink with more of a red tone. I got another pinky color for my toes.. OPI's Cajun Shrimp. It's a bright coral pink and is probably my new favorite toe polish. It's just a really bright happy color :) I went to Ulta over the weekend and found this next color on the clearance rack for $2! It's Ulta's Green With Envy. I have been wanting OPI's Here Today Aragon Tomorrow for quite some time but have always ended up picking other colors over it.. this is very similar to that color being a dark emerald green, but at less than half the price! My last one is kind of a stray for me.. I hardly ever buy drugstore nailpolishes, but after I saw the seasons new Marigold trend I had to pick this one up. It's Sinful Colors in Canary Yellow. It's not just a basic yellow, it has more golden tints in it, and for only $2 I had to get it! :)

new OPI nail polish always makes my day!

Over the past week I have been on a major nail polish kick. I've painted my nails several different colors a day searching for something that I really like.. something that makes me happy when I look at my nails. I'm a big fan of deep colors that are almost black with hints of purple, green, red or blue. I've gotten pretty sick of the same old dark nails every day so I gave some bright pinks and reds a try, but that didn't do the trick. I got out some orange, royal blue, yellow.. none tickled my fancy. After hours of putting on and taking off I found one of my Aunt's polishes that she had left at my house a while back.. OPI's Hopelessly In Love. I have NEVER worn light pink or nude colors, but what the heck.. I'll give it a try. I really liked the color, but it was just a little too light for me. I went to Trade Secret tonight to see about picking up a new color or two. I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of colors. It seriously amazes me, and I ended up looking at the same little stand of nail polishes for almost an hour. I finally picked two different colors. One fun, and one every day polish. Both were different than any color I've ever had or worn.. and I'm so excited about them!

I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with this color!! It's OPI's Dulce De Leche. It's a warm pink with a hint of brown to neutralize the color, and it looks even better on my nails! I put this on my thumb as soon as I got in the car and seriously screamed I was so excited!

This is my new super fun color, Jade Is The New Black! I love it! Blues are very in this season, but I'm not the biggest fan of just plain baby or bright blue. So I chose this teal color to put a little spin on the trend. This is probably one of my favorite colors (It's the color of my new lamp and in my new quilt for my bedroom!). Plus it looks really pretty on! Very fun for summer.
